Description of medical records activity:

The former medical records' officials of this hospital were Mr. Gholam Reza Zohre Bakhtiyari and Mr. Ibrahim Montazari. They have worked a lot for the improvement of medical records in hospital.

Medical Records Field is a new science improving day by day. The situation of medical records in this hospital has had significant improvement.

The most important activities are as follows:

 

• Optimization of the process of patient’s reception
• Facilitation in the process of organizing a case
• Increasing the accuracy and speed of reception of hospitalized patients
• Using expert forces in the unit of reception
• Equipping unit of reception and medical records to a computer
• Development in the unit of medical records
• Supervision and emphasized advice in completing cases. So in the recent conditions, cases have original and other specific pages. Delivering a case is completely managed quantitatively and qualitatively. The cases have been more complete than past time, so that the unit of discharge from delivering uncompleted cases.
• Increasing the activity and effectiveness of unit of coding the patients
• Controlling archived of cases and following the lost and unsettled cases
• Controlling & preventing from using non standard forms in cases
• Developing the physical space of unit of medical records
• Correct delivery system of cases to units

• Instructing the reception personnel based on completing all items of reception paper
• Binding reception personnel based on reception of a patient is done through her/his identification card or insurance notebook in non emergency cases
