Methods: In this study we reviewed 98 children who had been admitted from January 1988 to January 2000 to identify cases of MRDM

Results : According to accepted criteria for diagnosis of PDPD , one definitive and one suggestive case were detected .We also found one diabetic case who could neither be categorized in PDPD nor be ruled out sharply

In our study it is shown that 2-3% of children who suffered from D.M . Were placed in MRDM group
