Ectopic Eruption of Permanent Teeth in the Cleft Palate Children

Introduction:
Ectopic eruption of teeth in children with cleft palate defect is common but intranasal tooth in very rare is these patients.
Clinical manifestations:
Such a situation may have several clinical manifestatione or sometime however’ can be asymptomatic.
Complication and challenges:
A child with a cleft lip and palate may have a lot of medical, dental,skeletal psychological and social challenges. An ectopic eruption of tooth in the nasal cavity should be considered as another complication.
Conclusion:
There are a lot of hope and challenges in management of children with cleft palate defect.
In this lecture an interesting case of tooth in nostril of a 5 year old child will be presented.
