A CASE OF ATAXIA-TELANGIECTASIA WITH MANIFESTATIONS OF LEUCKEMIA

Ataxia-Telangiectasia (A-T) is a inherited multisystem disorder that transmited as autosomal recessive and characterised by oculocutaneous telangiectasia, severe cerebellar ataxia, variable immunodeficiency and a high incidence of multiple infections and malignancy. The neurologic symptoms usually dominate the clinical picture with onset at about the time that child is learning to walk. The disorder frequently results in profound disability, with the patient becoming almost totally dependent on others for care and even feeding.
In this paper we report one case from Department of Pediatrics in Imam Reza Hospital that has had total nervous, dermal, occular and infectious symptoms with acute lymphoblastic leuckemia
