The department treats patients with a broad range of conditions — including common pediatric conditions like overbites and chipped teeth to more serious conditions that require complex treatment. This department provides services every day from 9 to 12 o'clock.
Clinical service aims:
- Performing dental examinations as well as providing services to outpatients and inpatients
- Direct admission of children who need dental services and treatments under general anesthesia
- Dental consultations for inpatients
- Prevention services
- Provide oral hygiene recommendations to patients and parents
- Fluoride therapy
- Nutritional assessment
- Dental treatment services
- Fissur Sealant and Preventive restorations (PRR) for permanent teeth(adult teeth)
- Dental restoration of carious lesions for deciduous teeth
- Root canal therapy or endodontic treatment of deciduous teeth
- Attachment of stainless steel crowns (SSC)
- Extraction of deciduous teeth which are beyond repair
- Treatment and management of dental abscesses
- Placing of fixed and removable dental space maintainers for baby teeth
- Replacing missing teeth, especially anterior teeth
- Preventive orthodontics for dental dislocations
